Usage:
Root zones and composting. For slow release.
Increase:
Plants: 1 spring application;
Trees: 1 fall application
Maintenance amount:
Plants: 1 per year
Trees: 1 per year or every 2 years depending on growth requirements into root zone.
Application in fall.
Maximum:
Plants: 1 per ear, 2 TBSP for nursery plants;
Trees: 2 TBSP for every ft. of height in vertical drains. Vertical drains start 1 meter from the trunk, spaced in a circle and go outwards to the drip line of the tree. Each circle starts 2 meters out from previous circle and vertical drains are spaced 2 metes apart on each circle.
Possible problems:
Massive growth. Fruit trees may bend or break because of yields;
Roots may entangle if planted too close.
Reduction:
At desired growth or blossoms.
Termination:
Once dormant or when plants maintain health and growth.
Usage:
Fertilizer for Ca plus, Micronutrients, herbicide, fungicide, insecticide, bactericide, drought hardening.
Increase:
Non incorporated into soil, it can act as herbicide;
Applied throughout season as per recommendations and brix readings increased disease, predation, drought, cold tolerance and overall yields.
Maintenance amount:
Foliar or can be used for animal feed for higher feed value. In manure it is used to sequester nitrogen and reduce smell.
Maximum:
300 litres / acre
Possible problems:
Not sufficient watering to dilute concentration causing burning and stunting of crops. Soil / plant balancing necessary. Does not mix with copper or other sulfates.
Reduction:
Best is several times per year during growing season.
Termination:
Once crops are too high for spraying equipment. Unwanted desication or when pollination from insects is needed.
